Arepas are round corn patties that come from Venezuela and Columbia.

Why is it called pabellón criollo?
The word pabellón means flag, referring to the colors of individual components, which are arranged to resemble the nation flag.
Quesillo
Quesillo is a popular traditional dessert consisting mainly of eggs, milk, condensed milk, and caramelized sugar.
What is the difference between quesillo and flan?
Flan: uses whole eggs plus egg yolks; it is a creamy custard filling
Quesillo: uses whole eggs; it has a more spongey custard (like holes in the cheeses)
Hallacas
Hallacas are a traditional Venezuelans tamales served on Christmas. It has meat stew, olives, raisins, capers, and more inside the Hallacas, which combine a delicious mixture that is steamed within a delicious marinated corn dough.
Pan de Jamón
Pan de Jamón is a sweet bread stuffed with ham, olives, and raisins is especially popular at Christmas time
Why is it important?
While it was created in the 20th century with scraps of ham, and it soon became a tradition during the Christmas season for the Venezuelan.
Tequeño
Tequeño is a typical artisan Venezuelan white cheese qrapped in a thin, semi-sweet, breaded dough.
Nowadays, they have different types of Tequeño, they may use different types of cheese and sweet types that are filled with chocolate, Nutella, and so on.

Venezuelan Chicha is a traditional drink made with rice, milk, and cinnamon and served with ice. People usually called it a ‘Rice Drink’.
